Ok so before anyone goes straight to " we don't need another NA map " I just want to say this yes I do agree we don't need another Nort American map right now however if we are in a case where we may get a banger of a map but want to create a map before hand for example New England Mountains and Emerald Coast this could be a awesome map before another great map. If you don't or can't look at it that way you could also take ideas for species that you could add to Yukon Valley which is very close to the Canadian province Yukon which is where this map is placed so some species would likely be found in Interior Alaska too.

I could also change it so it is Yukon-Alaska, Yukon-British Columbia or Yukon-Northwest Territories.

I first thought rather no but I like I really do I think the big game list is pretty much perfect the grouse and waterfowl are nice the only species I would add to the list would be the sandhill crane that can be legally hunter in the yukon

Another new species you could add may be instead of the whitetail would be the sitka black tailed deer

I could do that too I would've originally thought that they would be better off on a Texan map but who knows we may never get a Texan map in the game

I disagree with your opinion that a North American map is not needed. We need a map that brings us the remodels to the older animals because EW has made it clear that is the route they are going. No map no remodels.
Also there is still a numerous amount of animals that still needs to be added that aren't in the game yet. We can't even complete the North American Sheep Grand Slam without a map in this area. It just fits some people's agenda better to say it's not needed because they want their area also.

That being said , the only thing I don't like about this map is I can't get Roosevelt Elk and a Columbia Blacktail deer remodel.

We can’t get the sheep slam until they change up the Bighorn Sheep on Rancho because its highly unlikely we are getting another map in the American Southwest (plus Sonora is well known for it’s Desert Bighorns)

They could make that happen with Southwest map that added the Great One Mule Deer.

There are a few problems with a second southwestern map: For one it would have to either be set in the Chihuahua Desert (Chihuahua, Mexico, southern New Mexico & West Texas, USA) or the Great Basin Desert in Nevada. Now the Great Desert Basin has potential to serve as a map, but it would just be another US Map, with the United States being the most represented part of North America in the game so far but on the bright side Nevada could serve as a second map for Rocky Mountain Elk, Cinnamon Teal, Mountain Lion and Mountain Goat, a third map for pronghorn and a 4th map for mule deer, coyote & Merriam's Turkey plus a good map to introduce birds like Himalayan Snowcock, Sage Grouse, Tundra Swan, Canvasback, Northern Pintail, Chukar and 3 different quail species (California, Mountain & Gambel's) and some other small game (Black-tailed Jackrabbit, Desert Cottontail, Kit Fox, Badger & Rockchuck)

No no no I think you misunderstood I'm a huge North America type guy there is a ton of maps in North America that I want to see however I always come across someone else who at some point says that we do not need another NA map for example Wellington on the Africa 2.0 map Idea I like the guy alot but his veiw on North America is not something I align with

Personally I think that after we fill in the rest of the holes in the map (Southeastern Asia/Northwestern Oceania, Northern/Central Africa, Northern South America, Greenland, Etc.) we could use some more North American Maps. The Yukon could work, but imo only if it includes Polar Bears & the other Coastal Animals.

I personally feel that's to long to wait for the remodels. The Roosevelt Elk and Blacktail look horrible compared to the other animals in the game. Then you have the competition with updated animal models that COTW has to compare to. Then longer they wait to remodel the worse they will look in game. I don't think waiting 5 years to remodel those animals makes sense.

True, they need remodels severely. Then again, we don’t necessarily need a new map for them to get a remodel.

Now I think about it I may make some changes to really reflect that
