#jaguar on rancho

As long as they were super-rare (like 10 males and 20 females total, spread out over the entire map), that would be pretty cool, esp. with hyper senses. Essentially, they would be like a Great One for those that don't want to grind.
Leave mela as a rare because that will confuse the hell outta people when they find like 19 mela jaguars
I would love them to be like that but I would prefere if they where only found in the forests
I would just call it black because jaguars just display black as a common fur colour and it wouldn't make sense if we won't implement that
Yet that’s the entire population
I used to live in Tucson, Arizona, which is the northern end of the Sonora Desert. The mountains around there look exactly like the mountains in the eastern part of Rancho. Historically there were jaguars there, and even the occasional (but unconfirmed) sighting occurs today, so they were not just a tropical animal.
As for black jaguars, I would have them about as common as piebalds in other species; they need to feel special.
May be they should be in the desert what do I know lol I'm a Swede I never have seen any wild cat bigger then a lynx irl
Not even at a zoo?
Seems I was a bit wrong: there are confirmed sightings of jaguars in Arizona now (Google was my friend). The last one shot in AZ was in 1963, so not so long ago. https://www.outdoorlife.com/conservation/jaguar-trail-camera-arizona/
No they're are no zoos where I live but I once saw a lion in the Berlin zoo but that doesn't count
El Jefe, The Boss. I lived in Tucson with my Uncle when he showed up down there. I wanted to go and see him in the wild so badly.
That is one cool cat lol
