This is the place to post this kind of feedback but perhaps write some context regarding your concerns rather than just posting someone's video link. I'm not sure about the rules regarding this.

Other than that, I wholeheartedly agree with the creator. He does some very good reviews.

I love that video. DD33 is speaking facts. I actually started playing classic because of this whole HM issue. It's kinda weird to have a game called the hunter and take all the actual hunting out of it in favor of GO and stuff when even Jaxy has said most hunters won't see a GO in their lifetime.

So basically the spawn system stays the same in service of who? Certainly not those who play this game to actually HUNT the animals. It's quickly turning into a numbers race rather than a hunting experience. Legit 7 of the last dozen weapons released have been an AR or repeater. Emerald coast is flat af everywhere. Theyre clearly steering this game towards that scarecrow fan base and I'm not here for it lol.

I'm against it simply because if it was so okay and has been okay for so long then why now that it's being exposed so heavily and talked about so much a big chunk of your community hate it

It's easy to offer up some support now after so many people have brought your name up in the "this ruined the game for me" conversation. I'm not saying that's the case, I'm just saying the timing adds up.

Yeah, he was one of the few grinders who said there should be a bear reset despite it meaning all his bear grinds would be gone. I can only respect that.

Then again he has G1 of every species and thousands if not hundreds of thousands of kills across his lifetime on them. A pop reset on one animal isn't the end of the world. It's just hard to see anything as genuine when you have it all already.

I don't think it's disingenuous. I fully support grinding and grinders as one way to play the game. I feel this is really on EW and they should keep their word and cater to all play styles and player groups. Especially when they're constantly banging on about it. Which I don't believe they are doing right now. The community revolt with the bear non-reset gave them a huge wake up call so I'm hoping we'll see some changes in their direction with the next update and onwards. Time will tell.

We can agree to disagree. Me personally I don't see grinding as a "playstyle" at all. I see it as exploiting a weak respawn system. I believe whole heartedly the devs seen people figured out their spawn system, refused to change it, slapped HM title on it( because this is the weakest most unrealistic RNG based culling system I've ever seen) and went with it. The AI is way too bland and 2-Dimensional for a system like this to ever exist in a game and get a challengers appreciation. If they made the drink and feed times random and allowed the animals to roam outside 1km of their "home zone" I'd have no complaints. Then it would require actual HUNTING of them. Such an easy and simple change. But no it would ruin HM and unfortunately people being able to rack up diamonds and G1s are more important than the actual playing of the game. Roaming around and appreciating and experimenting the map as a whole. Taking advantage of all the species to further help EW improve. Instead nah.

They'd still be predictable. Same system. Kill a lvl 2 get either a lvl 2 or 3 back that's fine. Just make me actually have to go find it instead of resting and knowing exactly where to go to find it. That's so lame and boring.

That's fair enough. I don't entirely disagree with your assessment. But I also don't have a problem with it. I believe that everybody should be able to play the game the way they want to play it as long as EW supports everyone and not just those who give them the highest exposure, which is where my main issue is at the moment with them.
