I think that a "free" weekend kind of deal sort of how most states have a free fishing weekend where you can fish without a license. This would be fun to let people new and returning players try out different dlc maps. I think that this could be a way that people could try out maps that they were thinking about buying and maybe even lead to them buying those maps. I think that this could be a way to let people try out things that they wanted to get before actually getting them. You could do like one weekend a year where they all go free or even do one every half year.

I'm on console and my friends can play on all my DLC without owning them. There are always several LFG posts offering access to DLC maps.

Yes, but that is due to Sony and Microsoft. There have been free weekends in the past, but I believe they were only PC?

Something like £6.99 a month for access to all the online games I need access to anyway so it's no extra cost. If you don't have gamepass, then it's still a good, fairly cheap way to test every single map for a month if you sign up.

I honestly wouldn't worry about the missions when deciding the maps. Some map missions are not very well developed. It's more about if you like the map's terrain and animals.

There were free weekends but for multiplayer only and those r very rare themselves
