I love Rancho, but as much as I love it… the rest of the community doesn’t and I think that’s because the lack of large game and classic Sonoran game for example Sonora Mexico is famous for it’s mallards! Ranchos has plenty of great waterfowl lakes (just add a little bit of water plants/reeds) I could go on and on about new species that could be added to Rancho (cough cough doves cough cough) but I’m only going to cover returning species, feel free to discuss such in the comments

Species

• Plains Bison
• Black bear (new class???)
• Gray fox

Fowl

• Mallard
• Green-winged Teal
• Bobwhite quail
• Cinnamon teal
I think this would greatly improve Ranchos gameplay, therefore increasing how well liked it is!

(Bison (orange) Black bear (teal) I updated the bb’s range a little to encompass most of Ranchos mountain range)

While cougars would be a more appropiate inclusion then black bears, I imagine not a lot of people want them on account of them scaring animals from zones (I don't hunt need zones strictly so its not much of an issue for me but I do understand that people have reasons to dislike the cougars in the game). I also noticed you listed Mallard twice, and speaking of waterfowl, Cinnamon Teal would be another fantastic inclusion, and that is all I could think of regarding returning species

Change bighorn to desert bighorn with a remodel and a Mule deer Great one then Rancho would be lit

I imagine replacing Bighorns with Desert Bighorns would be a bit easier then replacing White-tails with Coue's Deer but it would be nice to see both happen

With the change of Mule Deer to Class 5, Rancho now only includes Class 1-5 animals. I used to have a Loadout called "Te Rancho Colinas" that just had the Virant and Ranger because all three maps only went up to Class 6, but now my Rancho loadout just includes a 12GA Shotgun with Birdshot and Buckshot for Classes 1-5 and the Rolleston .45 which is for classes 2-5 and that's all I need. I love that my loadout is light and simple, but I would love to see more out of Rancho in the future. Not sure it needs Bison, but a waterfowl to give us more flying options would be nice.

Another improvement for Rancho would be to reduce the Bobcat scare radius. It's so annoying tracking your animal through the brush and way over the hill not even that close, you hear a Bobcat and your animal runs again. I understand the immersion part, but it's not even really like that in real life. I'm not saying take it away just reduce the effect a little.
