I think this would be a very interesting map, with there being few trees, there would be some forest area, but not much. I think it would offer a different experience than any other map in theHunter: Call of the Wild. With monsterous Marco Polo Sheep, going to level 9 - LEGENDARY. As well as making them the new Great One.
I also think that if the map is very open, that there would be NO drink zones, only feed and rest zones. There would be some water, but I think it would be a fun twist to the game. As well as animals being much, much more attentive at all times, being able to spook from far away. It would not be a map for new players, despite the open areas. As even an experienced hunter would have trouble. I think it would be amazing!
As well as climbing being fixed, as running up a mountain and jumping isn't very effective at times. And slipping down is really easy, so either adding some sort of climbing gear, or just making it easier for players to climb, as climbing is part of hiking and hunting.

Three things, snow leopard is a big no no(Mongolia tried in 2011 but they got some serious backlash for it), brown bears are just to far north, and I would replace red deer with Maral stag

When did they legalize snow leopard hunting???

I’m going to go out on a limb and say it was either China or Nepal that banned Snow Leopard hunting last, can’t remember off the top of my head.

I do recall Mongolia having Snow Leopard hunts open back in the 60s or 70s and only because I read it in a hunting magazine once

Oh, looking at the wiki page (take with a grain of salt) latest country to give full protection was 1995 in Bhutan, I’m going to assume hunting did occur prior.

Looking at the species list I noticed another species that can't be hunted in Kyrgyzstan: Markhor, which can only be hunted in Tajikistan and Pakistan to my knowledge. Bear I am not too sure of but I'm going to assume Lynx is likely off-limits to hunting in that country

Kyrgyzstan map with a Great One Marco Polo Sheep

#

I have decided to change the Great One from a Red Fox to a Marco Polo Sheep, after seeing that the Tahr will be the new Great One.

#

I will be drawing some furs for them as well.

# tawdry totem i couldnt tell what was a maral stag or a red deer or an elk

From my understanding, Maral seems to be used to describe Caspian Red Deer (a subspecies of the European Red Deer that is found in Turkey, the Caucasus Mountains and parts of Iran), Central Asian Red Deer (Which are a seperate species native to Central Asia) and some Asiatic Wapiti Subspecies like the Tian Shan and Altai Wapiti

Siberian Roe deer - Class 4

In otherwords, the Tian Shan Wapiti should be bumped to Class 7 since it is the largest of the Asiatic Wapiti subspecies much like the Roosevelt's Elk is the largest of the North American Wapiti

This could definitely work now that Nepal has been added

Considering the fact that we got Snow Leopards on Sundarpatan, I feel like they’d definitely add them here. The populations of both countries are fairly similar (around 300 - 500).

While they do not have the thickest horns, Siberian Ibex can grow very long horns, and curl into a large crescent shape.
