Don't reset them you can do it with brown and grizzlys tho because many people have black bear grinds and herd Managements.

Thing is most grinders are only grinding one map what about everyone else that has to have there bears in the wrong zones on every single map that black bear are on.

I think a good solution to this would be a Rancho and Yukon backfill, it would use the new drink time and improve the maps even more.

At the very least bring Black Bears to Yukon wouldn't be a bad idea (I wouldn't mind seeing Ptarmigan on that map too)

There’s also only resetting NEM/Layton, of which aren’t grinded too often.

tbh the bear times are bugged anyway some of my bears refuse to go to the new times and some automatically went to the new times and I didn't know so I think a reset is necessary

Nope. It's time to get real. This situation is a mess and very unfair to most.
Grinders have had an extraordinarily long time to consolidate their grinds and prepare for a reset. Resets are rare but sometimes they are necessary, although a little painful. Everyone is sympathetic to that.
But this is just a game and grinders can set up their grinds again within a couple of weeks.
I'll put money on it that your 'so many' people equates to far less than 5%. You can't even find any on here.

Besides, I'm very keen to start a black bear herd management (diamond soft grind) on SRP and that is not possible until they do a reset. I paid my money to play a game that is fair to me as well as everyone. Right now, I'm not getting my money's worth.

Yes I agree when the update came I was buzzing to try and grind Black Bears and I definitely didn't think it was going to be all that easy to reset the Bears to the new drink time but thought it was doable but I couldn't even get 7 zones reset because they were being d*cks after that I never started the grind and probably won't till we get a pop reset otherwise no GO Black Bear is going to be in my lodge

This is the thing about how lacking in foresight this decision was. It only protects current grinders grinding one species on one map. It is not only unfair to every casual player but it makes it very difficult for potentially new grinders to set up a grind for this species.
I haven't been playing the game since it launched but this has got to be one of their worst rollouts ever.

Btw changing the black bears wasn't that hard I did the 5 lakes that I haven't managed in 2 hours you could do the map in a weekend easily

Everybody who rather spends they're time and energy fighting for this on the server is just rather lazy or got they're prioritys wrong

Forgive me for saying so, but you sound quite young. You need to get real. They've pretty much admitted on their live stream that they've learned from this and they're never going do something like this again. They're probably looking to fix this as soon as possible. Leaving black bears as they are will also be extremely unfair to grinders working on other species in the future if they're forced to rebuild their grinds for those species. I find your reasoning on this to be selfish, illogical and a little immature, if I'm honest.

Which is what I meant by this situation with the bears making it difficult to set up herd management. You have check two times of the day and then you can't be sure they have actually moved. It's a mess.

I think so too. It's got to be difficult trying to keep an entire gaming community happy and sometimes you just have to test things out to see what works. Unfortunately, this one wasn't successful. Hopefully they'll put this down to learning and set things right soon.

That's a skill isue I have dozens of diamond bears.

A bear reset is easier and all the grinders can grind away again, a reset is needed whether you like it or not , i cannot figure them out i know i know its a skill issue but its a problem for new players who try and figure this out

i just think it would be better, not trying to hate i think this was a good idea excecuted badly
