Firstly I'd like to just say that I like Turkeys in COTW right now but personally I feel like there's room for potential to make turkeys even better here's basically the three things I want to see for Turkeys.

  1. Ocellated Turkey
    A ) We absolutely need to have Ocellated Turkeys in COTW they are by far the most colourful Turkeys in the world and hunting them is quite different from your usual Turkeys as you usually shoot them in the trees this could also allow for a very cool Mexican Jungle map with various other species too.

  2. Rio Grande Turkey
    A ) We have Rio Grande Turkeys on Rancho Del Arroyo currently and while that is great I don't think it makes much sense Rancho Del Arroyo seems to be placed in Sonora or Chihuahua Mexico but the interesting thing is Rio Grande Turkey do not inhabit those states/regions of Mexico but another subspecies does which I'll talk about later but anyway my point is I think Rio Grande Turkey should be removed from Rancho Del Arroyo and be put on another map that would make more.

Examples:

● Layton Lakes ( Rio Grande Turkeys inhabit Washington State so this is a potential opportunity although I'm unsure of how well received two Turkey subspecies would be on one map.

● Hawaii
● California
● Oregon
● Idaho
● Nevada
● New Mexico
● Silver Ridge Peaks ( ^^^ same goes for Silver Ridge Peaks )
● South Dakota
● Kansas
● Oklahoma
● Texas

  1. Goulds Turkey
    A ) Goulds Turkey inhabit Sonora Mexico which is where Rancho Del Arryo is supposedly placed so it makes sense for them to be on the map that is placed in the area that the animals live in I think this speaks for itself

You’ll never hunt turkeys at a body of water. So there’s no point of giving their drink zones back, the current hunting method is far more accurate.

Maybe for Rio grande on Layton they could half the Merriam population and put the Rio grandes with the elk and black tail and keep the Merriam with moose and whitetail

Also there is the Osceola turkey in Florida but there wouldn't be many other unique species in a map like that since we already have Mississippi
