The jungles of the Yucatan that lays between Belize, Guatemala and mostly southern mexico are known for they're extreme biodiversity with great hunting!
It has something for everything with the absolute jewel of the region being the ocellated turkey!
But the diversity doesn't end they're species include

-yucatan whitetail deer
-great curassow
-crested guan
-chacalaca
-yucatán bobwhite quail
-spotted paca
-Central American Agouti
-collared pecari
-white liped pecari
-coati
-occelated turkey

The new species are a good idea but we do not need another map with whitetail or moose.

We do not need, but they would make them self great on the map

These whitetail are wildly different than the whitetail ingame, they are much smaller and far more elusive.

The northern tamandua is another really cool optional species

If they can be legally hunted in Mexico

The idea is based of the far south of mexico, Guatemala and Belize

As long as Northern Tamandua can be legally hunted in all 3 countries then I see no reason why they couldn't be added

I added jaguar and tapir to the list because they now do illegal species, I would love melanistic or black to be an uncommon because 11% of jaguars are melanistic!

This was pre sundarpatan, when hunting laws were more important to players, if we included tapirs, Jaguar and peccary I think this would benefit the game greatly

I am aware that Collared Peccary are more or less legally huntable across Mexico but from what I last heard the White-lipped Peccary can only be hunted in Veracruz though they were hunted in states like Campeche in the past

Considering the presence of both Jaguar and Baird’s Tapir

I wonder if one of the two crocodile species in the area could also make the cut

There is the smaller Morelet’s Crocodile (which could be Class 6 or 7) and the larger American Crocodile (Class 7 or 8)

Crocodiles would be super cool, I think maybe because back when this came out you did not like it because of illegal species (pre sundarpatan)
