I've seen a couple of posts on this but I thought I'd give my two cents and maybe expand a little... (sorry if this has been covered in past posts or through dev feedback)

__Storage UI: __
attempts to overcome scrolling

Default setting

  • storage categories default to fully collapsed
    OR
  • a memory buffer to recall a user's last input (i.e. if I collapse my categories they remain collapsed and saved to the player file)

Sub Tier Categories

  • Species type lures*(e.g. Big Game, Avian/Birdlife)*
  • class specific ammo (e.g. 7 -9, 4-8)
  • class specific weapons (as above)

Hide/Filter/Search
a search or filter feature for rapid access to specific items and help filter out unused items

Sell-back/Exchange:
Admittedly the sell-back idea has the potential to be abused making the idea unfeasible, but an alternative could be to swap/exchange an item, like-for-like (e.g. tents/blinds/tripods), but for a different color which would help simplify storage

Or the idea to “retire” an item so it’s not there in active items. With option to activate it again later.

i would love the combination of the default setting to fully collapsed or how you left it last time and a new feature for letting us set items as favorite, so we can put our most used weapons/ammo etc in the front of the list (favorites should be shown at the top). its besically the opisite of the "retire" rangness suggested, but i like favorite more xD.

and we need an option where you can click on a weapon and either show us the fitting ammo/scopes (like we already have it in the shop but we need that one in the storage categorie too)

An option to mark "Favourites" for the shop is brilliant but active/inactive for player inventory is also great
