The 10g has been fine, dare I say better in my experience.

La Cacciatore has approx. 25% more shot drop than the new 10ga, you can buy them at any Outspot by standing at the distance that the zeroing affects and shooting at the wall, check what the drop is at 75 meters and then compare it with the 10ga that has a drop almost zero.
Possibly you are just used to the Cacciotore, the flight speed of the 10ga seems to be higher, requires it to be shot differently.

Yes, the 10g got less drop. It's much easier to shoot birds a mid to long range with it. It's probably my favourite shotgun now and I always carry it with me.

I'll have to upload some videos on YouTube, and share the links here so I can show the difference. I did notice the less drop with the 10g. I've had several ducks get hit and die 300+ meters away.
Also, keep in mind, the platform on which the game is played on makes a huge difference. Consoles are a lot more forgiving than the PC version for obvious reasons.
