ok so i want to play with my friends and one of them cant join my multiplayer server, he has the steam version and i have the epic one, can he play with us or no?

like i send him the invite, he is online and gets the notification and when he clicks it it just sends him to the notification and ther is no invite (like the notifications in game)

You have to invite him via Apex. Are you doing that or via the multiplayer menu?

Make sure you a “friends” on Apex, set up a multiplayer game, then invite him from the Apex menu (top right)
