Self explanatory, I know its been mentioned to have a drone but I still feel that defeats the point. This is a separate matter entirely from that. A bit detailed so thank you for your patience in advanced.

What: A cinematic approach to exploring the untapped potential of enjoying the games vistas and scenery, with dynamic wild life (trekking, resting and grazing as normal) while simultaneously capturing the beauty of the game in an automated or manual way.

Why: The game is beautiful, the environments are designed well and the vistas stand out. As the sun sets and rises, the moon and auroras, storms and the calm - everything is very well detailed, and aesthetically cohesive, and overall just beautiful to look at. (Let alone currently watching the grazing wildlife from afar).

But the issue is, we see it from only one plane, the ground and mostly through a scope; leaves much of that beauty left out. A lot of effort went into the games environment but relatively speaking, we only get to appreciate it in small ways. There are some nice areas but even if one was to line up the composition, the hud, noise alerts, and the noise level a person made to get there has scared off most of the wildlife within the area, all ruin the “moment” so to speak in a cinematic sense. If I may, this is a huge and meaningful portion of hunting trips; being able to sit and just appreciate the natural world you have enveloped yourself in.

Proposal: A cinematic mode that has customizable tools, such as a free cam, a “background mode” (set a scene and watch it transition at different angles and heights) , and a “Map Mode” (transitions to different areas on the whole or select portion of the map as scenes; sometimes an animal, a vista, or other random notable environmental features).

Some features that could be nice is drawing a “path” for the camera to follow to make cinematography easier (eg. Start south, end a length up north) or short scenes such as starting from ground and moving up. Or slow pan, zoom, or time fades (such as like in real life were a person sets up a camera on a tripod for several hours at a time to watch the sunrise/set). This would include speed adjustments. But these are just basic ideas and definitely could use some refinement from community members.

Conclusion: There is a lot of beauty in thehunter:Call of the Wild and it has much more potential that it can offer and live up to. In these areas, there is a heavy and untapped niched opportunity in the game with adding a cinematic aspect to it, as its sometimes nice to pop in the game, throw it on the tv/projector/monitor, do whatever chores or work or project a person has, while experiencing the beauty and dynamic nature of the environment and animals that inhabit it. Having this as an ambient “background filler” as a person goes throughout their day with chores/remote work/school work without the HUD, scaring animals or staying on 1 visual plane, this could not only double up as a great hunting experience but also a living virtual scenery and nature experience.

If it needs a financial motivation, this is something that I would pay extra for in a DLC.

Thank you for taking the time to read and the consideration. Wish everyone a good hunt.

I really think that CotW needs more development around the landscapes and environment, however I would only accept this free filming mode if Animal Spawns are Disabled during its use since everyone would use this mode to search for animals and the use of Drones during hunting season and on hunting grounds are not allowed
