Roe Deer are a very interesting animal and I love hunting them on Hirschfelden which is kinda nostalgic in a way and it's unfortunate that they haven't received a remodel maybe EW is planning on making a remodel of Roe Deer and perhaps other Species as well but for now I want to focus on Roe Deer.

Roe Deer are definitely an underrated species, a rework would really help.

Highly agree and I even think they could have a GO and feature in other European maps or even potentially a Asia map with the Siberian Roe Deer

Roe Deer would also be a good species to backfill onto Revontuli Coast, specifically since that map has very few medium sized game animals.

This morning I spotted a male young Roe Deer (Nivel 2) in IRL. It was barking by the reason of the breeding season in those days.

yeah their faces are made too chubby, short and cute, like they aren't supposed to be like that, in real life their face shape reminds me of smaller whitetail with bigger eyes

but then again it does depend from roe deer to roe deer

It's actually baffling to me to see how funky they look in COTW versus how they look in real life. I've never ever seen one IRL, but I hunt them relatively often cause they're one of the more unique deer species in the game, but seeing how they actually look makes me disappointed with how they're modeled in COTW. I love their cute pinched little nose and their antlers just look so poor compared to how they're supposed to look.

And? EW hasn't designated any subspecies for other animals so why does the roe deer get stuck with the small one?

Here I’m uploading a video I recorded the other day when I went for a walk in the morning, around 9. There was a roe deer with its antlers tangled in a rope tied in a small olive grove. When I saw it, I called a forest ranger so we could go help and free the deer.

The Siberian roe deer has been elevated to species status and has several subspecies, such as C. p. mantchuricus and C. p. tianshanicus and more. I think there is no reason for EW not to create the Siberian Roe Deer for Medved-Taiga.

A comparison between the Roe Deer in theHunter Classic, Way of The Hunter, theHunter Call of The Wild, and in real life. As you can see, WOTH has a superior model and textures for this species, while Classic's Roe Deer look really good for its time and (in my opinion) has the best Roe Deer antlers out of the three games.
