I feel that animals that are shot/killed while close to the water should be able to be reached quicker. they take forever to get to the shore and sometimes they stop floating in unreachable places which prevents you from harvesting them. But the main issue is the amount of time it takes for the animals to get close enough to shore for you to harvest them. PLEASE work on this!
