Unpopular opinion but revontulis roster was chosen quit badly. Wood Pidgeons, Huns, woodcocks, or Pheasants would all be better Uplands birds then ptarmigan, willow ptarmigan in the Lappland area would have been very okay tho but not at the southern finish coast. Whitetail deer dont fit very well especially in the amounts that they are found in, moose are severely over populated especially in the south as are brown bears who should have a more limited range. Instead of the whole Lappland area a more subtle northern forest would have helped a lot they could have made the north east like that.
Regarding waterfowl I really missed a swampy area I also feel Canada and bean goose not as optimal fits. Mallards are really not needed. They missed Finnlands most iconic game bird the eider who could easily have been found along the entire coast. I also missed pintails and shovelers.
Here is the species selection I would have shosen to create the optimal nordic map.
