This would help for newer players, and make sense for Future Great Ones, simply so an animals goes from 1-9, and certain ones get a level 10.

I actualy think that 9 levels is too much, it should be 6 levels,
1-trivial
2-easy
3-medium
4-hard
5-legendary
6-great one

most animals that go up to level 9 dont have level 1-4 spawning in which is useless, 6 is the perfect amount for all species, it can cover all types of racks and horns just fine and non antlered animals arent really affected by this change so its no problem for them too

#

plus it would help out newer players so they arent confused why a 3- very easy whitetail is a diamond when it says its very easy

Nah I'm perfectly fine with the current system plus its not even that hard to understand the lvl system

There are guides that are made for new players I'd suggest they watch those not only do they learn about lvls they learn on how to hunt and grind or basically what other things people do in game

The Difficulty of an animal indicates the distance at which its senses can detect the hunter. Animals with difficulty 9 have this difficulty to simulate the senses they have in real life, as is the case with predators.

As the title of this classification indicates, it determines the "difficulty" to obtain a trophy, the larger the animal the more difficult it will be to get close to it.

Knowing this is part of the learning curve of the game, not everything always has to be easy and friendly.
Reducing the difficulty would make the game even easier than it already is.

Not all species have the same amount of senses nor are they equal when it comes to hunting them, that is another reason why each species has a Maximum Difficulty, if everyone had the same it would be terribly boring and unrealistic.

It is because each animal has different senses, in the Codex/Fauna it is detailed each one, the Difficulty extends the distance of those senses, for Sight it is only within the Cone of Vision

Yea I thought they can do exactly that with only 5 levels, each animal extends the distance of senses differently than the others, cause right now, the actual number doesn't matter, the 5 medium Moose is smarter than 7 very hard red deer

#

So if the actual number doesn't effect the senses but the animals themselves, then what's the point on having different numbers on different animals

We don’t need to hold players hands like this, it’s meant to be a bit challenging

To have several ranges of difficulties in each animal and in each map since every 1 point of difficulty adds X number of meters to the senses. For example, the Red Fox of level 1 to 3 hears at 75 meters aprox, the one from 4 to 7 between 150 and 175 meters apox, and the one from 8 to 9 at 200 meters aprox, each animal is different and when one learns the detection sense of each animal and their distances you can identify a Diamond through its warning call thanks to the new distance indicator..

This is the great thing about CotW AI, the simulation of animal senses so that each one is different, as happens in real life, when you go hunting you must learn how each animal behaves.

Standardizing all difficulties would ruin the immersion.
The actual sistem is not difficult, you just have to learn to "Hunt".

It’s not a hard game

I also think it would be cool to see a Legendary Whitetail or Mule deer. Which is another reason for this change
