Situated in the badlands (based on Theodore Roosevelt NP in North Dakota and Badlands NP in South Dakota), this park has bluffs, desert-like areas with blooming prickly pear cacti, tall-grass prairies (much like Vurhonga, with grasses over your head), and scrub.

Theodore Roosevelt park lacks big predators, with only occasional visits from Mountain Lion, Gray Wolf, and Brown Bear, leading to necessary maintenance of other animal species, such as Bison, Pronghorn, and others. Mountain Lion appear to be regular, if elusive, residents in Badlands.

Appreciate the enthusiasm. To EW: I would recommend going light on predators: no wolves or lions, as these are only pass-through (or perhaps have a mission with one as a pass-through, but not as a main animal). For new species: the map wouldn't be complete without prairie dogs; I would also strongly recommend skunk and snake, but the others would be pretty much optional.

As far as new North American locations go, this is really great. My friend worked at Roosevelt for a while, pretty incredible place.

Not that they'd do it, but this would be the perfect map for a GO Bighorn. The world record hunter-taken Bighorn was shot by a bow hunter just outside the SD Badlands a few years ago.
