Although none of the maps ingame besides revontuli coast have a coastline at the sea in an area that holds sea ducks. Multiple maps qualify for a future sea duck backfill becouse these du ks spend time of the year in inland places, we actually already have 1 or even 2 species depending on what you call a sea duck.
Species that are found in huntable numbers of the area existing maps are based of include.
-surf scoter (new england and yukon)
-black scoter (new england and yukon)
-common scoter (revontuli and medved)
-velvet scoter (revontuli)
-white winged scoter (Yukon, Layton and NEM)
-common eider (revontuli)
-barrows goldeneye (Layton and yukon)
-bufflehead (all North American maps even Rancho and Mississippi)
I don't know if you count bufflehead as a sea duck, but we have Harlequins and all of these ducks are found frequently in inland areas of these maps!
It would be really interesting to see many of them and they are very beloved waterfowl many only ever would get to experience digitally.
