Eh I feel 22-250 is a bit op for rabbits and 243 op for turkey. But overall I like it

When I originally set the 243 to cover class 2 I forgotten I made Class 2 the Turkey & Capercaillie Class, though if we got birds like Kori Bustard or any of the legally huntable Swan Species they would go there too

Yep this makes way more sense then what we have now in the game

you do realise roe deer weigh 30kg, the recommended caliber is like a .223 or a .243, .270 and over is overkill, the meat damage is immense and its just unneccessary

# gentle birch several cabela's games did too, kind of a shame

Once Activision realized how much of a cash cow Call of Duty was, the Cabela's games suffered, I remember some of the much older Cabela's Games having shotguns that fired buckshot and some that fired slugs. I think Cabela's Big Game Hunter Pro Hunts also allowed different ammo types for shotguns

okay starting to like the idea of bullet weight, but when it comes to classes, I still think we shouldnt move around the animals from one class to another, its fine as it is, just make a lighter bullet for example 1 or 2 classes lighter than the medium weight one, and the heavier one 1 or 2 classes higher

gentle birch
#

Taking .270 as an example

Light bullets would favor 3-5 classes, medium favors 4-7, heavy favor classes 5-8. Still gives it a good range of use, adds customization, makes it easy to understand and more effective than two choices for the same range of classes

yes and no. they could do it either way. add two versions of each weight, or use soft points for light bullets, polymer tipped as the medium or heavy, and the third could be a different bullet type. like Round Nose or Spire point

I run 220 grain round nose heavy bullets in my .300 for elk (i like shooting fairly close in 1-2 hundred yards)
