This is from personal experience
.45-70 is large slow round that has massive penetration and massive bullet drop, decimated the plains bison population so it should be fine to hunt them with and expect 100% quick kill on a lung shot from broadside out to 150y
.30-30 is my personal go to for putting meat on the table. I've used it for years, whitetail, feral hogs, black bear, and even elk last year, it takes one round placed in the vitals. I've taken whitetails past 200 yards
.270 the ones I've dealt with were dead reliable on light animals like pronghorn and smaller deer, but Jack O'Connor praised it for all the big game in North America and I believe it would do just fine as a 3-7 rifle (there's only one, so the .270 and .30-30 would be good alternatives to it)
.300 is a useful cartridge. recommended a lot for mule deer and larger animals, it would be way more useful as a 5/6-8 rifle, there are much better choices for bison and buffalo.
.338 gets recommended a lot for elk and black bear, a lot of people in Wyoming use it for mule deer so 6-9 won't hurt anything so it'll work for Red Deer.
.30-06 needs a little boost since it out performs the .308 Winchester IRL with heavy bullets (180 grains and up, the kind used on moose/elk and such)
6.5 Everyone wants to love but it suffers from how weak it is, either buff it or change the classes to 3-7.
.22-250, just needs a little buff on class 3 animals and it's fine.
.243 please don't touch it, it works just fine.
9.3x74r, it's a nice round, rarely ever used because it's the secondary option in an already rarely used weapon, so a new Over/Under wouldn't hurt anyone's feelings, but it still needs a buff too, it should be between the .470 and .338
Too many 4-8 rifles, we need options outside that bracket and more focused wouldn't really hurt. Anyone else think of a change you'd like add it to the comments and it might go into the OP. this is just what I think, my opinion, tell me yours and maybe change my mind
