"A beaver has knocked down your structure" is a fancy way of saying "The stage loading procedural rendering process has generated an object within the hitpoint of your hunting structure, because it has been removed."

There is no way to prevent it from happening since it is a process inherent to the game engine, over time you learn where to place the structures and where not.
