Here's a list of a few of tweaks that I think would really optimise the performance of the e-caller:

**- Automatically switch off and reset the e-caller when it is lifted off the ground **At the moment, when it is replaced on the ground the call is still active but it doesn’t make a sound (this seems to be a bug). In most cases, when replacing the caller, I need to get some distance before restarting the caller and in many cases I want to be calling in a different species.
- Retrieval button in Storage that recalls the e-caller back to the inventory (or loadout) Like I said before, I’m a forgetful klutz and it’s just not fun trying to find the last place you used it and then travelling thousands of miles to go get it.
- Change the Dismantle button (X) on the Xbox controller Perhaps to A or RB? It causes a conflict when using the device in a waterfowl blind and it’s exit command which is also X. In fact, the entire Xbox controller button allocation system probably needs a rework and I’m intending to do a separate thread on this soon.
- Please add rabbits I’m obsessed with rabbits. This would make rabbit hunting so much more fun!

Many people have mentioned that the **weight **is too much but I personally I think it’s a fair payoff for what you get with the device. I also like that it requires me to be a little creative with loadout slots and be quite specific when preparing them.

Also, with the new arrow-fetching labrador, bow hunting just got ten times better too. Nothing like going on a deer hunt, quickly dropping the e-caller, calling them in and getting the dog to do all the hard labour on all those missed shots. It’s great fun.

Anyway, I’m absolutely loving this new device and I hope the above adjustments will be considered.

Hey! Great post. I also love the e caller. A note on the xbox button frustration. I have had lots of similar gripes with the button allocation for xbox (especially holding x for the camera), but I recently went into the settings and found that you can now reprogram every command to which ever button you want. I think they must have introduced this in a recent update, because I couldn’t do it in the past.
