This island is based the different Atlantic islands of Madeira, the azures and Canary islands. It's mostly based around dove hunting but has some other species also.

This seems like an interesting and very unique map idea. If hunting is allowed in this region, then I'd love to see it in the game.

Hunting is allowed tho the hunting is quit limited, but In the story you're a national park warden so you also get the animals that are not typically hunted but are culled by park wardens like feral cat and sheep.

That Would Actually Be A Good Storyline. Either You’re The Warden Or Were Called In By The Warden To Cull Animals. I Know They Do That In The Azores With Feral Chickens And Guineafowl.

I have to add feral chickens and gunea fowl too the list, the map is mostly based on the islands of Teneriffe and la gomera Couse I visited them and saw some game but I took the creative Liberty to take the entire region as inspiration

I Think That Entire Atlantic Region Is Kinda Just…Ignored When It Comes To Most Hunters. It Has Some Interesting Game, And If Combined Into 1 Map It Would Make A Great Map.

Absolutely, I think it would be perfect that way Couse 1 island alone has not enough game while they have enough together

Same for me, they are a problem species, and the other animals would also be very neat.
I will look to work out some rares and multymounts for this map

I highly doubt they will ever be added though… Americans freak out over the thought of killing a feral cat

The first multymount I had in eye was something I'd call "love pigeons" or "Laurel love" which would include a male of all 3 Laurel pigeon species

In reality, hunting feral cats is going to save many native species of lizards and geckos.

It's an even bigger problem then high coyote areas Couse the pop is so high and kills a lot of lizzard, birds and insects

Bears, wolves, and mountain lions keep the coyote population under control. In areas where there are no apex predators, hunters will have to regulate their population. Lynx does attack the coyote, but whether it goes as far as killing it, I don't know.

Agree, feral cats most in most areas have no natural predators and will either decimate the entire bird population and painfully starve or will be controlled by humans

Here we got some views of the pine forest and how it blends in with other biomes

A map is also work in progress tho it's not final I will happily share the version we have now.
The whole map is very mountainous keep that in mind.
-pink Laurell forest
-purple green Azure style grassland with some trees
-pine forest
-yellow is desert

Keep in mind that they all kinds blend into each other and all have they're unike species.

I will make a biome description with its unique animals for all 4 soon!
