As an avid hunter irl, something that gets me going at the beginning of every season is loading up for the first time. There is something satisfying about taking each individual round and methodically loading them one by one. Long story short, loading a rifle is a big part of hunting and is something the game currently glances over. I think the game could benefit from an option to manually load individual rounds. I'm imagining an animation where your character looks down at the gun and then there's a poach or a box of ammo that you drag the ammo from using the cursor. Once fully loaded you would have to rack the first round as well with either 2 separate keystrokes (i.e. down then up), or again use the cursor to grab the action and work it.
This would also give more purpose to the weapon skins in the game. Currently you really only get to see a good picture of your weapon skins in the inventory menu. Having the character animation look down at the weapon would give you an opportunity to inspect your skins while in the field.
