I got 2 suggestions that 1 technically is already in game: The big game species definitely do travel consistently between the already established need zones, this has been established.
What hasn't tho is that, while these lanes aren't need zones, they are common areas for traffic for animals. Is it possible to either get a addition to the game to signify a common used game trail often between drink/feed/rest zones?
I noticed this quite often at multiple hunting structures on hirch(like the west one from the southerly rathenfeldt outpost). that while some animals use areas near the structures for need zones, the other half is game transiting pass. Had this happen in the western subregion of hirchdorf seeing red deer transit past structures onward to a need zone i found earlier not even the area of the structure, presumably leaving their rest zone to go to their feed zone.
So far I bagged a couple fallows, boar, and 1 stag once transiting these trails. of common roots between need zones. like they are scheduled to arrive or go to their next need zone, near the end or during they mostly pass through these areas. Often the structure stands n blinds are placed in areas like these, not just classic need zones(resting/feeding).
If not added as a "need zone" or "game trail/need zone connector" Could it be possible that the layer can manually place on the mapitself additions(and edit and delete)like rabbit warrens and areas of gametrails/high concentration? The only option i see is printing a hard copy of the map itself and playing connect the dots while observing the herds. the game silent hunter 3 and 4 gave this option to the players to draw and radius and lines on the in-game chart, maybe this with the addition of a "note" may help, and bring unique customization to each players game.
Unlike normal need zones, a group of animals would not be attached to this trail, but rather, that group or multiple groups often use that area to transit to their next need zone, especially if they coincide, I can see this common routes that some game pass to their drink zone, or frequently used feed zone for example.
Just wanted too bring this up, because in theory, this already exists just by the nature of the need zones already present in game and would diversify the area of interest for hunting opportunities as well.
