Now, I Love Rancho. It’s A Difficult But Fun Map To Hunt And The Species Are Awesome. The Environments Feel Like The Sonoran Desert And Its Surrounding Wooded Mountains. But The Species List Is…Strange To Say The Least. I Lived In Arizona (Which Borders Sonora) For Many Years And I Can Think Of A Lot Of Species That Would Make Rancho A More Sonoran Desert Feeling Map.
————————————————————————
The Species List I’ve Come Up With Is:

Map Wide:
Desert Mule Deer (Class 6)
Cougar (Class 5)
Desert Bighorn (Class 4)
Coues Whitetail (Class 3)
Goulds Turkey (Class 1)
Ring-Necked Pheasant (Class 1)
Elegant Quail (Class 1)

For The Grasslands & Scrubland:
Plains Bison (Class 9)
Nine-Banded Armadillo (Class 1)
Rock Squirrel (Class 1)
White-Winged Dove (Class 1)
Mourning Dove (Class 1)

For The Open Desert:
Javelina (Class 4)

For The Woodlands:
White-Nosed Coati (Class 2)
Hooded Skunk (Class 2)
Arizona Gray Squirrel (Class 1)

Other Possible Species:
Gemsbok (Class 8)
Bezoar Ibex (Class 4)
————————————————————————
From What I Researched All Of These Species Are Present And Able To Be Hunted In The States Of Sonora And Chihuahua (Where Rancho Is Heavily Based On). If This Is Untrue, Please Let Me Know. I Want To Try And Keep My Suggestions Accurate.

Perhaps Mexico isn’t even the best setting, something like White Sands New Mexico could have much more variety.
