PC (TheHunter: Call of the Wild)

Tons of players in the community would appreciate if the Dolby Atmos or the **__directional sound __**would be fixed. It makes it incredibly hard to hunt sometimes. It is on every map. It seems to happen more in mulitplayer than single player, but it does happen on both.

There is a sound on the left side where the direction shows that "Track Animal Call" but you hear it in your right speaker (headset or speakers) as if it was coming from the right. Its incredibly difficult to navigate especially if you have a dog who barks to let you know, "Hey this way" If you can't see them. But since the sounds wrong, you can't find em sometimes lol.

Please fix!

EDIT This is for any sound, your dog barking, footsteps, all animal calling. It's not easy to get a video of it really, as the directional sound is IN the game itself, watching a video of the sound problems, I believe would be in each speaker equally.

I have the same grudge with this system too. Also when Track Animal call appears before opening or while in your inventory, it will straight up not work, even if you hover over and press E.

Was a solution ever found for this? I'm having the problem too. Especially easy to notice with the blood hound, if it is barking in front of me it sounds like it's barking to the left of me.
I'm using a Steelseries Arctis Pro headset.

I have exactly the same issue. Audio from opposite side, apparently so does everyone?

It’s still a problem.
I’d like to have the sound visualization turned off for better realism, but it’s impossible to determine where the animal is located based on sound alone (using standard audio on PS5).
