#Animal class fixes

Lynx are perfectly fine in 3,and turkeys and geese can have a brand new class, 1.5.
Black Bear in class 5??? Explain why.
I'd put turkeys into class 2 aswell
But the other changes? Nah thanks
I asked a question.
Ey I'm not op
Oh! I didn’t see that,sorry it’s late for me.
So you now hunt turkeys with 223 243 and buckshot
lmao
Lynx and Bobcats should be in the same class as coyotes. .223 and 243 and typical hunting rounds for them.
.22 for turkey anything other than a head shot is terribly underpowered.
.22 or maybe .17 is typical for raccoons.
Black bears are not normally very big and your typical deer hunting rounds are typically used.
Peccarys could stay at 4 but certainly on the small side for that.
They are still triple/double the weight of damn near everything in class 4 and 6,you can still hunt class 7’s with deer calibers
I think average male black bears are about 200 pounds. Not a huge deal and an argument can be made that the rare XL bears should bump them up some. Turkey, raccoon, and bobcat/lynx seem really off for sure. Turkeys need their own shotgun shell.
People Use A .223 In Some Places By Shooting Them In The Head.
The Average Male Bear In Game Is Around 200 KILOGRAMS. Thats About 440 Pounds. They’re Very Deserving Of Class 7. Brown Bears Should Be Class 8 And Grizzlies Should Be Class 9.
I get that. But irl average black bears are not 440 pounds.
True, it really depends on where they live and what they are eating
A Black Bear on Vancouver Island will outweigh an Arizona Black Bear by a wide margin simply because the ones on Vancouver Island have access to foods like salmon
In Fall It Is, Which Is What The Original Bear Weights Were Based On. They Should Be Class 7. Class 5 Is Far Too Small For Them. Nobody Is Hunting A Bear With A .30-30 Or .243.
I’m certain there are people who will disagree that you can’t take a Black Bear with a 30-30, especially at close range
You Can, But Is Is Absolutely Not Recommended. They Have Incredibly Strong Rib Cages. I’ve Shot Bears At Around 100 Yards With A .300 Short Mag And They Still Run For Around 100 - 150 Yards, Likely Longer If You Hit A Single Lung.

Im not standing on a bear weight, mountain by any means. I aready stated that there was a good argument for leaving them. I felt like several of the others were off enough to warrant changes.
I Think That The Brown Bears And Grizzlies Warrant Changes More Than Most Of These Other Species
You can't in new york
New York also has a lot of pretty terrible laws, due to (from my understanding) the whole state using the same laws as NYC,which is incredibly stupid imo.
You Can In New Zealand (And Most Places Where Wild Turkeys Are A Feral Species) & Texas, Because Of Course.
Also true new york is f'ed up
