PC (TheHunter: Call of the Wild)

Tons of players in the community would appreciate if the Dolby Atmos or the **__directional sound __**would be fixed. It makes it incredibly hard to hunt sometimes. It is on every map. It seems to happen more in mulitplayer than single player, but it does happen on both.

There is a sound on the left side where the direction shows that "Track Animal Call" but you hear it in your right speaker, as if it was coming from the right. Its incredibly difficult.
Please fix!

true, they sold me on the Dolby Atmos sound feature and I bought a license only to find out it doesn't really work

If the version of your motherboard is higher than August 2020 then the problem may be your Realtek audio driver.
Dolby Atmos does not work correctly on Realtek divers and later BIOS versions, there is no solution for that even from Microsoft support.
I recommend that you download the FxSound Booster program and run it, this will always remain active from the moment Windows starts and it will act as a driver ignoring the Realtek configuration and will improve the directional sound in addition to the game volume scales

@queen relic i read your comments about Atmos not working properly because of Realtek. I downloaded FxSound, was curious what preset you recommend? i tried classic processing and it seems to make the wind real echoey. any suggestion ?

I'm using an asus essence stx ii sound card and still have the same issues, wasn't an issue before but now sounds ALWAYS come from the wrong direction, it's so broken for so long now that I don't understand how this is not somewhere in the top priority list.
