Sometimes in the game you will constantly make noise like you are in brush it makes you super loud no matter where you are usually adding up to 1 bar of noise no matter what position you are in.

I have been playing since launch and I first started noticing it about 2020. I first thought it was my internet lagging but now know that's not the case. What I do to fix it. I stop, turn looking straight up in the sky. Then I spin one way, and then another the other way. It stops the noise. The problem, if you are in still in deep scrubs, it will start back shortly. Just repeat once getting into a clear area.

I'm getting it mostly in Himal. I'm walking through grass that isn't even ankle height and it's making the same noise as going through bushes. Not just the annoying sound but also noise wise it says I'm making one red bars worth which is silly. That grass is the same height as a fresh cut lawn. This is ridiculous and it is grating. I really want to hunt yaks but the whole mountain area is like this.

I really hate to say it but Sundarpatan is arguably the worst one yet, in terms of those trailing bush sounds. They really need to sort this out. It's as frustrating as those puma screeches.

New map same old scratchy foliage bug, it’s such a shame that I have to avoid some maps due to this long term and very annoying bug.. I like the game and have little issue with bugs appearing as they usually get fixed eventually but this bug has been around for a long time and I think it would be great if EW looked at this and came up with a fix… it’s so loud and present it makes the game hard to play…

thank god i'm not going insane! i thought something was wrong when i started playing rancho del arroyo just now, and grass makes 1 red bar of noise everywhere, like in mississippi acres. it's incredibly frustrating, scaring everything away when you're not even running!

Todays hunt club mission is to shoot 50 Yak, Buffalo or Bison from within 50 meters. Now my sound bar is stuck to bush noises. THANKS EW, this is not ironic AT ALL😄

And I guess now I can add Vurhonga to the list of maps where I had this bug. But honestly, at this point I think it's completely independent of the map and location, and can happen anywhere...

seemed to indicate that they know why it happens. But given that every map is covered in clustered foliage, of course you are right. This happens everywhere, so I don't think their approach of finding and deleting the offending bush is going to work haha.

I think the only way this bug will ever get a serious look at fixing it, is if enough people post and add to a thread like this. Maybe then it will be seen as a problem affecting the gameplay. I’m still waiting for the team to respond after submitting a video of the issue.

People have been submitting tickets about this for years. In one releases patch notes they said they fixed it but it didn’t fix anything, that was years ago. Since then, nothing. Maybe if we make so many posts that it overwhelms the support section they will do something about it but I honestly don’t know how else it will get fixed. We’ve tried every other method they ask of us 🤷🏽‍♂️

They know, they said years ago they fixed it. It made it worse and it’s been swept under the rug ever since. I would guess there’s been hundreds if not thousands of reports in the last few years. They haven’t addressed the community about it which shows they just don’t care about it. If they did they would at least be transparent

There’s been a big push to fix bugs that are “not as intended” to gameplay, well this bug creates a disadvantage to the player with the extra noise, so it’s “not as intended” and therefore should receive the same commitment to be fixed as the recent bugs had.

I came back to the game because of Sundapartan only to find that this bug ruined the map. An awesome, fun map that managed to get me back into the game was ruined by an age old bug. I really want to play this game. I've put so many hours into it even after being forced to start over from scratch because of another bug with populations. It all seems for not tho.

Unless you’re playing on a map like medved, this glitch is pretty menial, and yes, although it can be annoying, it will usually go away within a minute or two

Just had it pop up on SRP again at the two lakes west of dinosaur hill.

I got 1 bar of noise prone crawling no matter what I crawl through.
