I have 3 I'd like to see added into COTW
Mauser 98 (7.92×57mm)
Ruger Mini-14 (.223)
Remington Model 8 (.30-30)

#

Mauser 98 (4-9)
Mini-14 (2-4)
Model 8 (2-6)

The accuracy of the mini-14 especially after the first shot is terrible and would actually be pretty funny to have it like that in the game.

Another suggestion, Springfield Krag-Jorgenson .30-40

I'm all about a Savage 99 in .300 Savage. Sweet lever gun comprable to the 30-06.

That Mauser 98 Is A Sexy Looking Gun. I’d Love To See Them In Game.

Also:

M1A
Remington Model 700 (if it's not already in, one with internal mag might be fun)

I think some time in the 2000's they made a few adjustments and I think have a little bit of a heavier barrel. I dont have any experience with the newer guns. Anything better than a 6 inch group with 60+ grain ammo out of the older ones require work on the gun. Light bullets are worse.

Hmm.. Add or make that Mauser 98 an 8MM or .375 H&H and that Mini-14 a Mini-30, and you may see some more traction.

I like that Model 8 idea for sure.

Oooh, has anyone suggested the Remington Model 760 Gamemaster?

#

Or the Remington Model 7600

The Lee Enfield rifle in .303 British.
It would make a fine addition to a classic weapons pack

How about a Winchester 1895, it could be .30-06, 7.62x54R, .30-40 Krag, or .405 Winchester.

Both the Arizona and Texas Rangers liked this rifle in either .30-40 or .30-06

Yeah, if it came with the Classics pack. otherwise it should just be a blued/walnut one as a base purchase, maybe a case hardened/cherry stock the I think maple/engraved iron or nickel finish

Hey, if we're suggesting classic rifles, I wanna put up a .22 lever action (it was murder to get this one however because everyone likes short little carbines better)
