Rigby Falling Block Rifle

Brilliant in simplicity this single-shot rifle reflects a perfect marriage of heritage, precision, and elegance.

Chambered in .416 Rigby No. 2, the rifle features a single trigger and top safety, with a 25-inch lightweight barrel – as per Rigby pre-war standards – with an integral rib and traditional London Best black finish. The rifle benefits from a standard front foresight with protective hood and rear sights regulated at 65 yards, with two folding leaf sights regulated at 150 and 250 yards.

Bespoke to the customer, the stock is built to client specifications and is modelled from hand-selected, grade seven deluxe Turkish walnut, finished with Rigby’s signature oil finish and a one-inch rubber recoil pad. Shaped with a classic pistol grip, with a cap box housing a spare front sight, the grip cap trap features a blue enamelled plate.

I would go cheaper, what about a single shot shotgun?

Well it’s the Single Income, No Kids pack. So for a single-shot shotgun I wouldn’t choose a practical, reliable CVA. I’d go for what most hunters should experience that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford.. Like a Browning BT-99 Max High Grade. I chose the A5 for this pack because the community has been asking for it in numbers, I just made sure the quality exceeded average expectation.

Sometimes I go to a local Winchester Facility and rent an outlandishly expensive over under for a cheap cost.

S.I.N.K weapons lol!

Here’s my picks.
A double barrel bolt action repeating rifle. And the rotary round action rifle.

I also like this Seekins Precision Havac Element in 300 PRC. 🫎

It’s a hybrid, ultra-light-weight hunting rifle. Using aerospace grade 7075 aluminum encasing stainless steel, the long action model of this rifle weighs in at a mere 6.0lbs.

Savage also has my eye with that ~5lbs 110 Ultralight Elite in 7mm PRC. 🫎

Another mention/suggestion. Chambered in .300 ACC, made by CZ, need I say more? 🦌

#

HOWA Super Lite, just over 4 Lbs. 7MM-08 REM, worth mentioning if not for just the cosmetic aspect. 🦌

#

Sig Sauer CROSS-277-16B, caliber: 277 FURY at 6.5 lb/ 2.94 kg. Great camo too. 🦌

Forgot to mention the new CROSS MAGNUM, 300 Win Mag 8.9 lb W/MAGAZINE [4.04 kg.]

Also, this model has barrel swapping capability so 300 PRC is a GO. 🫎

I think another S.I.N.K rifle that would be nice is a .408 Cheytac, with prices easily surpassing 10,000 dollars! This is a very powerful cartridge, Class 9 only (maybe 8).
