This game has hunting reserves all over the World, however none in india/china. Most parts of india are highly colonized. With this I present to you: The Sutlej Valley.

The Sutlej Valley is a region of geographical and cultural significance situated in the northern part of India and extending into Tibet. Carved by the mighty Sutlej River, this valley is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, including snow-capped peaks, lush green valleys, and meandering waterways. As one of the five rivers integral to the historic and fertile Indo-Gangetic plains, the Sutlej River plays a vital role in sustaining the agricultural heartland of the region. The valley is dotted with picturesque towns and villages, each bearing the imprints of a rich cultural tapestry influenced by various civilizations that have traversed this historic corridor. The Sutlej Valley encapsulates not only natural beauty but also a tapestry of diverse traditions and histories.

As a mean of transportation (like the boats in revontuli), there could be ropes beetween the valley, as this was how they crossed the rivers often. It is a rope with a seat attached to it where people on either sides pulled the person over. There where no safety measures and occaionally people fell of into the river and drowned. Since most maps have roads here it would be mountain paths as roads didnt really exist. At some places one could add little places where they collapsed leaving a fall which had to be jumped. Near the riverbed there are lots of forests and as you get higher in the mountains there are more grassy plains, that eventually turn into stone filled bare plains, mostly only accesible for goats and sheep.

As for lore (these stones whith background information) one of these should be about the shikaris, people that know all about the area, the animals, etc. Each village had their own and they where for hire and would also get commission for each animal shot. If this gets added, it should come with a .280 Ross Rifle and a .375 as these where used (with proof) to hunt the bharal and ibex there. It's important to note that most forms of hunting are illegal in India. However, there are exceptions for certain animals considered to be pests, and regulated culling is allowed under specific circumstances.

Hunt is banned in India, reserves will not be added where hunting is not allowed.

Minus the Pumas (which isn't even native to Eurasia), Sambar, Serow, Snow Leopard, Himalayan Black Bear, Pangolin, Langur, Rhesus Macaque, Vultures and Peafowl, the list would almost make a decent lineup for a reserve set in Pakistan because as stated before hunting in general is banned in India except for culling operations (And if I recall correctly the animals are buried afterwards so I can't see India work as a potential reserve in any modern day context). Now I did see that you also mention setting the map in a pre-1972 setting and for that I can suggest #1187670413002690590
