A idea I have had is a reserve set in the wilderness of India and here are the inhabitants

Class 9- gaur
Class 8-nilgai
Class-8 Asiatic lion
Class-7 sloth bear
Class-6 sambar deer
Class-6 elds deer
Class-4 Barasingha
Class-3 axis
Class-3 black buck
Class-2 stripped hyena
Class-1 Indian peafowl
Class-1 spot-billed duck

A weapon to go along with this map is the .222 Remington and would be 2-5 and a good little rifle. Until then I will see you in Jangalee Bhoomi.

Can we get confirmation of how legal are these to hunt? Cause I am all for an Indian map, but I'm pretty sure there is nothing legal there to hunt

Yeah that’s the problem I tried to make it as legal as possible but my thought process is since it is a reserve and all for management.

For this to work,I think you’d need to cut Striped Hyena,Asiatic Lion and maybe Sloth Bear, because India “Hunting” model revolves around agriculture
If there’s fig trees on your map,you could add sloth bear(they love figs, therefore therefore they could pose a threat to the farm hands).

It is quite hard to get these rights, because of India post 1972.

Hunting is banned in India, regardless of the modality or where it is done, it is a religious, cultural and lack of populations issue.
It has even been mentioned officially and on many occasions that it is not possible, there is no way to avoid it, I don't know why they keep insisting on that country.

India is the most densely populated region of the world, more than 1 billion people live in 1.3 million square miles of land, which massively burdens the natural resources of the country. There simply aren't enough animals to permit hunting, especially for the larger animals like gaur and big cats. There's also the cultural memory of colonial hunting and exploitation by wealthy Europeans, which is resisted far more than in Africa.

#

Hunting in India nowadays is mostly done illegally by indigenous peoples who are not loved by the government or mainstream society

Yeah, India would only work if it was in a hunting game set in a time period where hunting was allowed

I imagine if India ever unbanned hunting, it would be a privilege of the rural peoples that are still hunting for subsistence. There are too many people and not enough animals to support the North American hunting model and they should not and will not open up safaris like African countries have to wealthy foreigners.

#

If we supposed a reserve for India, every endangered animal on that list should be removed outright; India's current conservation model does not allow their hunting at all and would not if they legalized hunting. Asiatic lions only exist in a single forest and there are more tigers in Texas than in all of the Indian subcontinent

Something like Vurhonga pre-Lions; endangered and vulnerable exotic animals aren't available to hunt, but the species with large populations can be hunted. Might be a little boring to some people, but there are plenty of hunting games that let you hunt tigers and leopards

# valid flare If only far cry 4 was a hunting game

I remember hunting rhinos from the backs of elephants with the 700 Nitro in that game (Once a few nearby outpost were captured), and that game even had hunting missions. I do recall that the fictional country was set in was so successful in their rhino conservation that they were able to open safari hunting before the events of the game (Gotta love Far Cry 4)

It's a little silly that there are literal ghosts in the game but we can't make a pretend reserve for India. Make the DLC 30 bucks and donate half the proceeds to Indian wild life conservation.

Agreed

A company as big as Avalanche Studios Group would NEVER donate half of its profits to another country just to be able to release content for a game that is not even in the top 100 most played.
In addition to only getting half the profits from a normal map, they would have to invest a few thousand dollars in legal resources, human resources, tax returns and international transfer fees, the effort is not justified at all.

Resources that could be better spent on a reserve set in another part of Asia like Pakistan, Mongolia, Central Asia, Japan or even other places (Nepal, Iran, Malaysia)
