Here we are still waiting for console players to release a patch that corrects the bug or error that the rivers, lakes and ponds look all white and look like frozen water in all the maps because that looks very ugly and discourages the desire to play.

It's true, but it's not game breaking, so unlikely to get fixed before the next major update. They only tend to do patches with dlc releases, or unless something causes frequent crashes.
