This map is in the south eastern part of the Appalachian mountains more specifically southwest Virginia. If you will notice, there is a railroad going through the map and that little turn off there going toward the mountain leads to a coal mining town brass Springs. There was no brass on the mountain, but, it is still cool name. There’s also a farm in the top right corner. Great for feed zones for many animals that graze I thought you should add squirrels to the game so this should be the map to do it in. I know it looks a lot like New England and that was part of the inspiration for this but there’s so many parts of Appalachian culture that you that you forgot to put in New England specifically coal mines we are built on coal mines here in Appalachia. I figured this could have mostly the same species as New England, including the squirrels, except swap moose for Rocky Mountain elk as they were introduced as the closest relative to the extinct eastern elk well I hope this was convincing enough and please consider this idea. I’d love to see it in the game in any variation just keep the name. I’d like to see squirrels too.

I like the layout of the map. It looks like SRP and NEM combined almost.

We Already Have This. We Don’t Need Another Appalachian Map Just For Them To Add 1 More Species Again. Yeah, Squirrels Would Be Cool, But You Can Add Them To Existing Maps Rather Than Just Create Another Map And Waste 8 Months On What Is Essentially New England Mountains 2.0

This definitely wouldn't be my first choice for the next map, but I'd be fine with it if they found some way to make it distinct from NEM.

I mean, @zealous tiger you could transform this into a Quebec map, that could have way more interesting species (European Wild Boar,Red Deer, etc) while also keeping the species you’d want from an Appalachia 2.0 map.
