Great One Lion

Introducing the all new Great One Lion, who is not only the Great One, but a long living warrior. This ancient lion has visibly been through war and still manages to fend for itself. Wearing battle scars on his face, back, and legs, having unusual fur colors, giant manes, and being blind in one eye, this beast is horrifying to anyone who has seen it themself.

If you have the guts to attempt to take down this beast, you are required to own either the "Vurhonga Savanna" or "Africa 2.0" reserve as well as have a 'Class 9' weapon at the ready in order to complete this task while passing the harvest check. When setting out on this mission, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a male lion weighing 300 Kg (661 Lbs.) and is Level - 10 Fabled. There is no doubt this will be a grueling task, which is why only the most committed hunters will ever be able to even observe upon the Great One.

The Great One Lion can be found with one of 6 different furs:
•Fabled Swiss (Light Beige, White Mane)
•Fabled Pepper (Gray with faint Black Dots, Gray mane)
•Fabled Black Crowned (Light Brown, Pitch Black Mane)
•Fabled Piebald (Piebald, Full White mane)
•Fabled Midnight (All Black with intermittent white lines to represent past scars, Black mane with white rings)
•Mixed (Cross between any two Fabled Furs, interpret that however you'd like)

Will you have the grit required to compel yourself to harvest the Great One Lion? If so, your journey awaits!

Yes! I love it! This is exactly how I picture it. Maybe add a few scars, possibly a blind eye, and it would be even better as well!

I would love to see lions as the next great one. It would likely be my first GO. Unlikely to happen though. I think it's silly that all GOs HAVE to be placeable on Layton and Hirsch. This would be a great poll question.

They want GO to be accessible by everyone and not dependent on purchasing dlc. I suspect when they have exhausted the valid possibilities for GO's in the base game they may Add some dlc GO's

Yes. Hopefully. It's a principle that I disagree with and feel is outdated and not consistent with other content that is only available via DLCs.

We have Tahr G1 now so DLC G1 is on the table. I think a Blacktail G1 would've been crazy💥

IYO what made that the better decision over the tiger? I understand they are rare but spawn rates can be adjusted.

Tigers are special due to their elusive and protected nature. Tahr also have the potential to be added to TA at some later date. Also with 9 fur variations on the tigers as well as their limited numbers will make them almost like a great one.... The jury is still out on how difficult they will be to hunt and kill .... We should know more when the embargo lifts tomorrow ....

I can't say I disagree lol I guess it's just my personal preference I guess I don't much care for Tahr. Or most goats in general. Nothing beats a big rack for me.

Or a predator that looks like he's been ripped to shreds over the years. The G1 grizzly is still a dream

I would like to see them do something with Blacktail ... they are way overdue for an update. And they need to find another map for them.

I agree. Blacktail are one of those "forgotten species" from the base game. Coyote remake would be great too.

Well these is an interesting post here about creating some smaller and more focused reserves .... https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1250217581009440868 ...... this could be the solution for species like Black tail that have a limited and scattered habitat/ranges .... Also they could have a small map on Kodiak Island that would focus on the Kodiak grizzlies
