I was thinking if a stabbing mechanic was added, guns such as the Winchester Model 1897 and M1 Garand that have a bayonet mount, could have a attachable and detachable Bayonet for close encounters

Where is "hunting" with a bayonet legal? (I am not saying it isn't, but am just wondering as I have never heard of this.)

It is not legal to use sharp accessories added to hunting weapons.
