Animals get covered by snow when it is snowing on the map.

Ever since the addition of the feature that makes the tents get covered by snow when it starts snowing on the reserve, this idea came to life. The idea is that when it starts snowing on the map, not only the tents, the outposts, the outfit of the player and the maps themselves (At the moment being only Medved-Taiga and Yukon Valley), but also the fur of the animals that are roaming those reserves will start getting covered by snow. The addition of this feature will boost the realism of hunting on the cold environment maps in the game by a ton!
And also if the rumors in the community of the next map being the Arctic reserve coming to Call of The Wild are indeed true, the addition of this feature is absolutely necessary!

should also make it so that when it rains animals look wet. Cause now all animals always look fluffy. Hunting these bear and wolves for example would be hilarious.

My only issue with that is that it might cause some graphical issues or require the dev team to rework the fur system. That would take away time from development of new maps or features for something that very few people would appreciate. But, that's just my opinion. I don't know all of the intricacies that wet fur on those animals would entail.

i think what you say is true but for me making the hunting feel more real is definitly the most important. but with rain also should come a shelter zone or something where animals shelter from the rain for realism. but I think a new game needs to be defelopped to start from scratch to make that happen

With another map having the snowing effect added (Himal region of Sundarpatan) we really need this feature! Imagine seeing a herd of Wild Yak going through Himalayas under a blizzard, getting covered by snow

that might be to much, and imo i dont think a bullet can cause that great of an impact for every piece of snow to fall off and it will be covered by snow if killed on the ground anyways

Animals being covered in snow would be a great feature to introduce on a reserve set either in the Arctic ( #1070045518002147458 or #1122396586866135181 ) or in a mountainous area ( #1117315981849669662 or #1253737251867721820 )

It would also be a good feature for Medved Taiga, Yukon Valley and the Himal Region of Sundarpatan

I went to Alaska in January for work once, and one night we drove to a Musk Ox reserve that had platforms on the fence so you could see them underneath you. The snow-covered Musk Ox looked just like this, and were magical in the silent, falling snow, like Pleistocene monsters come to life.

Well, currently snow doesn't even cover tents and outposts anymore with the Sundarpatan update, but they hinted that https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1070045518002147458 is coming in June of 2025, so we hope that it will get fixed and this will be added for the immersion on that map.
