I'm having an issue with game progress not saving. I've tried going to different maps, fast traveling to other outposts, and starting a new game. When I close the game down it puts me back at the same outpost on the same map at the exact same time, money, ect. with me getting several alerts that my dog is leveling up. The issue started when I tried to play without internet so I went offline mode on Steam and turned cloud saves off. I've uninstalled and reinstall twice now, and even with that it still puts me at the same save. The save icon on the bottom left is always flashing now and will not stop as well.

I just wanted to do a quick update on this issue. I seem to have figured out this progression issue when online and offline. I had to go into windows security and give the game controlled folder access. I tested it after changing this setting by first turning on all cloud save options on and it was good to go. I then put Steam into offline mode, and it was also saving like it should. And finally I completely disconnected the computer from an internet connection and it saved good. Hope this helps anyone having this issue in the future. I searched and asked several times and places and found no fix. I came across a random youtube video that talked about games in general not saving, and followed those steps which is what worked
