removing incorrect 'lab' colors

I've suggested it via email, but Champagne, Charcoal, and Silver labs are not labs. They are mutts. The Dilite gene is not carried in labs, the silver labs specifically are the biggest scam- they are weimaraner/lab mixes. I have links, and resources that I can provide. But by having these colors in the game you may accidentally be encouraging people to buy from backyard breeders, and get scammed. Silver labs aren't a thing

I really dont think anyone is going to go out and buy a backyard bred dilute lab just because of a small part of a hunting game. Let people have more than three colours for fun. Its not like being dilute makes the dogs physically incapable of being retrievers. As above, just ignore the option if it bothers you.

No. The problem is people market silver "labs" for thousands of dollars, and they are bred unethically, and usually have health issues due to it. So it's 1. A scam, 2. Unethical. That's the problem. It's not the dogs it's the people. But the colors will encourage it

No one is forcing you to use these dog colors, why can't you just let other people enjoy the extra customization options and stop making a big fuss over it?

I plan to have field (working) line and showline labs in the future. The differences in each line is astounding. Labs are gorgeous dogs.
My last dog was a Black Lab/golden mix and she was the most loyal dog ever 🫶

Labradors are genetically predisposed for hip dysplasia anyhow precisely because they are "pure bred." An argument could legitimately be made that Labs are "mutt" St. John's water dogs, but since the Royal Kennel Club recognized them as a breed only in 1903 (followed by the Americans in 1917), I guess they need to be accepted at this stage, despite being so recent. Luckily for our in-game pixel doggos, they all have perfect health and are immortal, and if we don't want to use any particular fur variation, or indeed Labradors at all (some people are against the notion of pure bred dogs), we don't have to.

It's going to happen. I have faith. Jaxy mentioned, a couple of streams ago, that EW's attitudes had evolved since the game was launched and he was quite specific about reminding us that this is a 'game' afterall - hence why this complaint is a little ridiculous. I also believe that elephants are currently a serious consideration for a future map or backfill. All fingers firmly crossed, I want elephants!

1_ the game Black Bear is Common Black Bear (u can see in thye codex Ursus Americana), no the Louisiana Black Bear (Ursus americanus luteolus).
Part of the reason why black bear hunting is prohibited in the department of Mississippi is because it is practically impossible to differentiate one subspecies from another and the risk of hunt a *luteolus *is very high, therefore hunting is prohibited completely.
Since the Reserve is a hypothetical place where only one species exists, there is no problem.

2_ the game Pronghorn is Common Pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) allowed hunt in sonora, the endangered subspecie is (Antilocapra americana sonoriensis) its hunting is prohibited...
Same situation that Mississippi.

3_ Mexican Bobcat (Lynx rufus escuinapae) is only endangered in US list, not in Mexico where Rancho is located...

That was a good thread, I would really like all the species to be correct for each geographic region, luckily there aren't many that are out of place so it wouldn't be a big job to make a change to them.
