I’m not sure how many other people feel this way but….I feel like Te Awaroa is a shell of NZ hunting,I hardly see any Red Deer in the higher altitudes,New Zealand is re·nowned for its fog and beautiful Sunrises and sunsets, not to mention the lack of Arapawa Ram and Tahr, which I think EW can pull of with the resources they have now.

So,To explain this better,Te Awaroa feels extremely rushed, with the lack of Glacial Lakes, tall shrubby hills, leading into many tall and beautiful mountains, with Red Deer feeding amongst the Fog,and before night as the beautiful southern sunsets you must give our lambs a shot, sighting in a beautiful Lamb placing your reticle just behind the curvature of the skull, giving you some of the best bushmeat in the country

New Species
•Himalayan Tahr-Class 6
•Arapawa Sheep-Class-Class 4
•Brushtail Opossum-Class 2

Birds
•Peafowl
•Black Swan
•Paradise Shelduck
Ring necked pheasant
Canada Goose (you can use rifle calibers on geese in NZ!!! I think 22-250 and below would be good enough.)

New additions
•Snow in High altitudes
•Deep fast moving glacial rivers
•Fog (3am-7am would be the time fog would appear most prevalent)
•Make the Mountains Rocky(take the rock brush and go ham).
•Beautiful Sunsets and Sunrises
•Improved skyboxes (especially for nighttime)
•More Rolling hills,it feels like it’s either wide open river plains or mountains.

•Hiker huts! These small shacks nestled far into the mountains help travelers of all kinds whether it’s hunters, hikers, photographers, sightseers alike
•Log your visit (Add dev names, with their reasoning of using the hut,Easter eggs and of course, your name!)
•Sleep
•Enjoy a nice warm fire!
•Change your loadout (no buying.)

Redistribution/Wild Game adjustments
•Red Deer Top half of the map, especially during feedzones
•Canada Geese are heavily in high altitude but range all across the map
Chamois Drink time!!!

Diamond Frequency changes
•Feral Goat Diamond frequency
•Chamois Diamond frequency and rework

As a New Zealander brushtail possums are a must as it's basically the first thing most of us shoot before we get into hunting deer, goats and pigs. It would also make night hunting on Te special as we generally "spotlight" hunt them giving players a reason to go out specifically in the dark 👍🏻

My first animal was a deer surprisingly

#

But I would not want arapawa sheep as really they are only found on safari and game parks and stuff like that as far I know there are only 2 free range fully wild feral herds of arapawa/feral sheep in all of NZ

#

But Chamois drink time is absolutely a want

Eh you are correct I mean you can't hunt crocs in Australia IRL so I guess it's OK Thar are a necessary species though I've hunted tahr IRL and I'm so disappointed that TA doesn't have them

They bend their own rule a ton more now that I think about it,Iberian Wolves are legal but not necessarily well perceived by the public, there’s a few other examples.

I'd also say for time would be 3am to about 7am and more so at lower altitudes

Lucky bugger I didn't start hunting deer or goats until I was out of high school haha. Would go spotlighting with my dad from from the age of 7 though, nothing like popping possums with a .22 or shotty for target practice haha

I started hunting at 12yrs old when I only wanted to hunt big game

Will say the tahr are heavily welcomed

Oh interesting do reds not taste that good?

woven stone

Fallow taste better, reds are quite gamey tasting and Sambar are basically dog food 😂

If they are as gamey as caribou I would not mind

Ooh! Just thought of another feature!!! Hiker huts! These small shacks nestled far into the mountains help travelers of all kinds whether it’s hunters, hikers, photographers, sightseers alike

Post has exceeded word limit,so I’ll post the rest of my Ideas here.

Weapons Reclassing
Now,one of the many New Zealanders In here can probably confirm for me that .270 is quite popular,it’s even the minimum for a ton of game, all the way up to wapiti according to the DNR website.
•6.5 Creedmoor-2/3-7/8
• .270-3-8
• .303 British-3-8
• 30-06 Springfield-3-9

The .270 is a popular cartridge here but I'd put it at 3-7 for balancing purposes. The 30-06 I'd leave at 4-8 as it's very similar to a .308. The 6.5 I'd think of as a 2-6 being the top choice for that category

They are a pest but are very contained to specific regions. Possums are everywhere

Possums Not Being On Te Is A Crime. Wallabies Would Be Cool, Though.

@sharp hollow another feature for ambience would be the sound of magpies singing on sun up and sunset. That's a very specific tune that you here when ever your out in the bush here

From my experience magpies are pretty wide spread. I work in the deep south and live in the central north island.

Yeah but I've hunted in places like the west coast, Canterbury mountains, central otago and I've never seen or heard magpies before
