The "They Are Legend" hunt club mission (daily mission) just sucked all the fun out of the halloween missions for me. I've managed to complete all the Halloween themed missions so far but I don't see any way to complete this in one day, since i don't currently have a grind set up with lots of stacked difficulty 9s. I would understand if it was a weekly mission, but as is it just ruined what has so far been a fun event. I could understand this mission as a weekly, it would be challenging but fair. But to accomplish this as a daily I would hava a) need to have known in advance that this is happening and set up for it b) get insanely lucky with RNG in opening new maps (if i had unopened maps) or c) cheat. As said, i have completed all the Halloween missions up to this point, but seeing this just destroyed my motivation to play the game today, including the weekly which i have about 70% progress in. I have so far liked the hunt club missions of this Halloween event, especially the challenging ones, but its not fun to attempt something i know to be impossible.

I agree with this 100% !
What do the missions get you?
The reward is some in-game currency as with all hunt-club missions. but that's besides the point
People need to chill. It's obviously a wind up and more for grinders. I thought it was funny 🤣 and didn't bother with it. Same with the bow/heart mission. I don't do the missions where the rewards aren't worth it, when I can just kill a bunch of love lions.
well, i was really liking the event so far, the bow to the heart is challenging but doable. I am a grinder, when it comes to the stuff I like and challenging missions are fun, but I don't see a path to doing this in the given time limit as explained in the original post. I've been religiously doing the holiday missions so far, just because i'm a completionist. Having the event end in a task i stand no hope completing because of RNG, unwillingness to cheat, or lack of precognition is a huge let-down.
Imagine if you went to shoot lions, located a rare or a diamond, perfectly aimed and shot, but at the point of pulling the trigger the game could decide that the bullet that you shot was of a different caliber including those wrong for the class. Sure, you could luck out, and have it not change the bullet, but broadly speaking, making the harvest checks would no longer be in your control.
Why play a game or take part in an event, where success or failure is decided arbitrarily by factors other than your skill or how you conduct yourself in said game/event?
Sorry you feel that way about it.
