Good morning,
I would like to propose here to include events like the classic (Easter, Halloween, Christmas...) I think that this would help motivate players to want to hunt exclusive animals and give a little more spice to the games from time to time.
Tell me what you think

True who wouldn't a little story with a way bigger Wolf than normal and people think it's a werewolf or a reindeer with red nose roaming around
I mean i want that in my trophy lodge

On the hunter cotw we are also entitled to have animals of this style, there is potential

As The Devs Have Stated Before, It Would Be Nearly Impossible To Have An Event Like Classics In COTW. They Would Have To Make Them Individual Updates, Which Would Put A Lot Of Strain On The Consoles Players Who Have Very Limited Space.

# supple thunder Thing Is, It’s Literally Something The Devs Have Said Would Be Nearly Impossible...

Don't bother yourself typing only fisrt lettre in caps go full don't worry and yes i understand that and that particulary why i said only simple and occasionaly changes because alright storage probleme but how do they plan to keep players who did it all and just get bored on thé game uh ? How do you keep thèse people on thé game or people that think that a Map/yrs is too little to take intrest in that game ?

we'll see, after all it's just an idea, nothing more, if it doesn't come to fruition it's not death

I like the weapon skins but it’d also be festive to see a themed character preset and/or holiday clothing added.

Unfortunately it is not possible due to several issues that have been mentioned over time:
-Each content, even if it is tiny, requires an update that changes the version of the game.
-Updates require a lot of time for design, testing and hotfixes, they are limited to only one every several months, so their content is extensive and always patches the entire game and covers several gigabytes...
-The design of each content requires human labor, salaries, resources, software, etc.; requires the sale of a DLC to cover the costs, if this is a free event it will only bring economic losses to the studio...
-With the current system of populations and habitat, introducing a new animal requires a readjustment of the total number of animals so that the AI can move them..

It's a shame

In this case would it be possible to create a fantastic card for your animals? With regular additions throughout the year?

I know that cotw wants to be realistic and focus on breakable animals in real life but I think that a Map divided into several parts with fantastic animals, which they already introduce in the classic, can give players great desire and be profitable

Tbh the only seasonal event in COTW that I would be interested in would be a winter/Christmas event, with the chance to find a rare "Rudolf" Reindeer, since I think that would be a fun and unique challenge to try to find.

Classic's Halloween event just isn't for me, I'm just not a fan of constantly having to watch out for werewolves and hideous demonic animals while I'm just trying to enjoy a hunting game. I'm sure some people who are more interested in that darker stuff would enjoy that sort of thing if it was added to COTW, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't.

An Easter event with a special rare rabbit would be neat I guess, although honestly I probably wouldn't go after it just because I find rabbits annoying to target in the game (it's much more fun if you just shoot them as opportunity kills while travelling between other hunting areas).

Many things are possible, it's not just monsters, Rudolfs or rabbits. The potential is there, you just have to exploit it

Everyone has their own point of view, it's not you I was addressing but thank you for sharing your point of view
