Yes I know it’s not really a “hunting rifle” since it would absolutely obliterate its targets but imagine how good this would be against really big game. Just imagine you’re hunting for moose with a normal 338. it takes around 1-3 shots to take it down with precise aim up to 200 meters. But now imagine a DLC gun that you could buy that would take something like that down in 2 shots from 200 meters away without having to hit vital organs. Now obviously it shouldn’t be too op but to counter it the price for bullets should around 1000$-2500$ per 10 normal 50BMG bullets. And add a new 4-10x scope to fit with every rifle including the Barret. Also add Polymer tips for up to 3000$ and hollows for up to 2500$. Do what you want with the levels to buy the other bullets but to buy the normal ones make it lvl0.

If They Ever Add Things Like Giraffes, Elephants, Or Hippos It Would Be Nice. It Would Have The Weigh Something Crazy Like 10 Units, Though.

The thing is it’s a good gun for long range hunting because it would be able to piss pound big game like a moose over 200 meters away or a annoying brown or grizzly that won’t die

If we did get a .50 caliber sniper rifle in the game (which I don't think we will) I would prefer a bolt-action version to prevent it from being too OP. That being said, there's plenty of legitimate hunting calibers for bigger game that I'd definitely prefer to see in the game rather than a .50 BMG. The .340 Weatherby, .375 H&H, .416 Rigby, or 9.3x62 would all be much more well-suited to a hunting game and would make much more sense.

Could you imagine being the developer who is tasked with assigning stats to the caliber and platform?

That and I would really like to see the animation of the surrounding foliage plum away from the muzzle as you send one into the great pink mist. 😆
