#Some dental pads are colored like teeth

Let me clarify first of all that this issue is VERY INSIGNIFICANT compared some of the other issues that need to be fixed in this game. That being said: several species that should have dental pads (rather than upper front teeth) have tooth-like coloring in that spot.

They aren't shaped like teeth so I'm thinking the models are largely correct and there was just some confusion when it came to the textures. Most of the cervids seem correct other than the mule deer, but several of the bovids have the issue, including the Cape buffalo, ibexes, mouflon, wildebeest, and gemsbok. This isn't a comprehensive list, I was just poking around in the mouths of the trophies I have in my lodge, which isn't all the relevant species.

I'm hoping the trend of updating the visuals for the various species continues, and perhaps adjusting the mouth textures to accurately reflect dental pads could be part of that.

To my knowledge all the horned or antlered artiodactyls should have a dental pad instead of upper incisors.

That’s a good point I haven’t thought of that.

They damn near stuck beaver teeth on my Buffalo!!!

I think we should stop paying our taxidermist for overlooking such a detail.

Nah, these are just the animals that still need a remodel 😂

True, Capes Need A Remodel, As Do Mouflon, Gemsbok, Mule Deer (Especially Mule Deer Antlers) And Pronghorn.

I think basically every species that was introduced prior to Mississippi needs a remodel, honestly.

The game has accumulated a lot of persistent issues over the years but one thing that's consistently improved is the models of the animals. It's be great if all the older ones could catch up to the new ones.

And as I said it'd be excellent if they recolored the dental pads while they're at it.

# zealous iris I’d love some like one new rack for whitetail,It would be more vertical than the...

Honestly I Wish The Whitetail Were Different Based On Map. Laytons Whitetail Would Be Average Size With Smaller Racks, As Columbian White-Tailed Deer Tend To Be. Rancho Would Have Coues White-Tailed Deer With Tiny Bodies And Tiny Racks. Mississippi And Revontuli Would Have Virginia Deer With The Same Models That Are Current, And New England Would Have Northeastern Boreal Whitetail With Huge Bodies And Small Racks.

# zealous iris Yes Please!

I’d Love To See Subspecies In General. Mule Deer Could Have Desert Mulies On Rancho, Rocky Mountain Mulies On SRP, And California Mulies On Parque. Moose Could Have Shiras Moose On Layton, Canada Moose On New England, Alaska-Yukon Moose On Yukon, Yakut Moose On Medved, And Eurasian Elk On Revontuli.
