5 tiers of weapons/ animals
Tier 1- Hares, rabbits, birds. 300/350 grain arrows/bolts, .22LR,.22H, birdshot (any shotgun gauge)

Tier 2- Foxes, coyotes, jackals, lynxes, Musk deer, bobcats, raccoons, and raccoon dogs, .223, .22-250, .22H, .243, .357, .45 colt, 10mm, buckshot, medium weight arrows/bolts, .45 airgun

Tier 3 - roe deer, springbok, ibex, blacktail and whitetail deer, fallow deer, bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope, Lesser kudu, Axis deer, blackbuck, feral goats, chamois, wolves, sika deer, warthog, wild boar, kangaroo. .243, .270, 6.5, .30-30, .30-06, .303, .308, muzzleloaders, buckshot, slugs (12,16 and 20), .45 airgun, 7.62x54r, medium arrows/bolts, .357,.44Magnum,.45colt, 10mm

Tier 4- Elk, Sambar, Rusa, wildebeest, red stag, gemsbok, mule deer, caribou/reindeer, black bear, mountain lion/puma/cougar, alligator, mountain goats. .270, .30-30, .30-06, .303, .308, .300, 7mm, 9.3, .338, .45-70, medium/heavy arrows/bolts, muzzleloaders, 10mm, .44Magnum, .454, Slugs (all gauges)

Tier 5- Grizzly/brown bears, lions, moose, bison, buffalo, crocodiles, .338, .45-70, 9.3, .470, heavy arrows/bolts, slugs (10/12 gauge), .454, .50 muzzleloaders,

The harvest check works just fine, vital shots should mean the most in terms of score

but

every rifle with the exception of the .470 and .44 needs a massive boost to penetration and the lever actions (.30-30/.45-70) should have there range restrictions removed.

This is a game, you should have the ability to choose your favorite rifle and hunt a variety of animals effectively. IRL a large part of choosing a rifle to hunt with is personal choice an finding what is comfortable to you

Interesting Tier System

I do appreciate the brown bears being in the same tier as lion and buffalo for sure

This Would Be A Far Better Classing System Than The Current One. Maybe A Class 6 Could Come Through In The Future For Species Like Hippos, Giraffes, And Huge Game Like That If The My Ever Come To The Game.

Tier 6 should have the buffalo once we get the proper big game weapons for the job that is or have the bows be the only tier 6’s for the moment.

308, 30-06 and 6.5 should be ethical enough for tier 5 and make buffalo, lion and bison tier 6

As .30-06 is the absolute minimum for grizzly,I don’t even want to think about the lack of pen a 6.5 would have on a croc.

There’s quite a difference between those cartridges,like the 6.5 creedmore is more suited for newer rifles higher pressures and all that.

6.5 Creedmore is actually more of a target round. A lot of the data published to make it appealing as a hunting cartridge actually compares it to poor loads of other rifles. It's more or less targeted to get new shooters to think it's better than it is

I wanted to do just five tiers for now and make the need a massive pen buff (all the rifles need a decent boost and could stand to be realistic)
