The map ingame currently does not accurately depict where these reserves are and for someone who’d love to vist places like the maps depicted, that’s quite confusing so I suggest we move over to something that’s easier to project, based on Fishing Planets “Map” (in the picture)

With this feature
• Parque would be even further south in Argentina (which would be generally more accurate anyways given the presence of Southern Beech Trees and the fact it is set in the Patagonia region)
• They can finally confirm where in Africa Vurhonga is supposed to be|| (so some of us can criticize it more accurately)||

This would be cool, but it seems like a lot of work for something that people usually spend a matter for seconds looking at.

I'd rather they spent the time fixing other stuff or working on new content, personally.

You seem to have a lot of Africa maps planned. I'd be surprised if we saw all that from EW anytime soon.
And "screenshot Google earth"?? Lol

We are running out of space for reserves so if EW does not want to abandon this game they’ll have to do something similar.

I think this would encourage EW to make more USA maps so I don’t love this idea

# high night I don’t see the problem with more USA map,the more species the better,Tell me ho...

I agree, but I would like to point out that we now have almost all of North America's biomes in the game though.

We have Layton (Pacific Northwest Temperate Rainforest, Riparian and Montane/Subalpine Forests), Yukon Valley (Taiga, Muskeg and dwarf Boreal Forest), Silver Ridge Peaks (Rocky Mountain Temperate Conifer/Mixed Forests and Grasslands, and subalpine forest/alpine tundra), Rancho Del Arroyo (Sonoran Desert, Riparian forest, dry grassland and Sky Islands/ Mexican Pine Forest), Mississippi Acres (American Southeastern Swamp/Bottomlands, Subtropical Deciduous Forests, and Southern Yellow Pine Forests), and finally New England Mountains (Eastern Temperate Mixed Forests, Conifer Forests and Alpine Tundra/Krummholz).

What are we missing? We're obviously missing the arctic tundra, the tropical rainforests of Southern Mexico / Central America, and the Great Plains. We're also missing many forested and mountainous regions of Canada and the U.S. that are already very similar to existing maps (these regions include British Columbia, the Central and Northern Rocky Mountains, Sierra Nevada/California in general, the Great Lakes region, Eastern Canada, Southwestern U.S. deserts and the southern Appalachians). The maps we have in the game cover most of the unique regions in North America, so realistically we can only get a few more NA maps (maybe two or three) before we just start getting maps that are almost identical to other ones that are already in the game.

Srp also doesn’t quite look right,I don’t know whether it’s the color grading or lack of a plains biome.

currently it looks like SRP is based in summer or maybe even late spring

Also no badgers/foxes/coyotes is surprising.

#

Colorado is also known for beautiful teal-blue rivers and creeks.

#

Srp only having small ponds and a few large lakes makes it feel extremely restricted.

I wish SRP would have been more like Timbergold Trails in Classic. That map might be the best map I've ever seen in any hunting game, everything in it just comes together so nicely and it captures the essence of the Rockies better than SRP does (the only thing missing is any grasslands for species like Bison or Pronghorn, and the lack of Shiras Moose also feels a bit weird). It doesn't seem to be based in Colorado though (it's probably Idaho or Montana based on the presence of Grizzly Bears and Larch trees).

I’ve never played classic but that map looks great from the videos I’ve seen of it.

What I think would be the absolute perfect map in any hunting game (and how COTW should have done their take on a Rocky Mountains map) would be a sort of mix between COTW's SRP and Classic's Timbergold Trails. Have a healthy mix between some high mountain areas, some lower montane forests, and open plains, with a variety of lakes, ponds, and rivers/mountain streams. Have it be based in early Fall when the color pallette and landscape is at its most spectacular point. Have some forested and rugged areas but also some lowland areas with nice open grasslands, maybe some sagebrush steppes as well. Fill the map with a variety of North America's most sought-after wildlife including but not limited to:
Mountain Goat
Bighorn Sheep
Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer
Rocky Mountain Elk
Shiras Moose
Pronghorn
Bison
Mountain Lion
Gray Wolf
Both Grizzly and Black Bears
and a variety of various small game associated with the region (fox, coyote, badger, bobcat, grouse, rabbits, marmots etc.)

That would, in my opinion, be the ultimate hunting reserve in any hunting game. Will any game ever do something like this exactly the way I would want it? Probably not, but a man can dream I suppose. Some games have gotten close at least.
