Except hoglets, let us pop hoglets with a Glock.
Would love this, doesn't matter to me how they implant it, but here are some more ideas to instead of invalid target which already suck with your dog which is next to you, instead of in the herd when you can't shoot your diamond cause the calve is protecting it even when you have a clear shot. Make it so it hurt your population on the long run. Example if you kill a calve the next 5 animals you shoot will take 5 extra in game days to respawn. Or make you pay a penalty, or no money at all. Invasive species excluded for the maps were they are.
Sounds like a really good idea
The problem with this (as cool as it would be) is that even non-huntable animals require CPU overhead. I am sure the developers could add them, but would you still want them if that meant removing animals you can hunt to make room for them? This is exactly why the squirrels, mink, and the original (non-huntable) rabbits were removed and why there are no longer "ambiance" birds flying around in reserves from Vurhonga Savanna onwards. Most players I suspect would rather have animals they can hunt rather than having some of them removed for animals they cannot.
That's a good point, I guess for some animals, mainly ones that would have babies around at the time of year.
